Meet the Pastor

William Allison was born in Lexington, NC and accepted the Lord as his Savior as a child at Spruce Street Missionary Baptist Church during a Monday Night youth meeting led by his grandpa, Sammy Allison. He surrendered to the call to preach at the age of sixteen under the preaching of Tom Farrell of the Wilds Christian Camp. After graduating from North Davidson High School in 2009, he attended Calvary Baptist Bible College in King, NC and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Theology. He and his wife, Amber, were married in 2010 and they have been blessed with four children; Benjamin, Elijah, Daniel, and Ellie. William served as a youth leader and adult Sunday school teacher at Open Door Baptist Church in Linwood, NC for 11 years before becoming the pastor of Silver Valley Baptist Church in January of 2020.
